Silver foliage of this small shrub is a great addition to the landscape, adding texture and contrast when combined with other shrubs. Forming a rounded shrub and does not overtake the landscape.

Silvery pink catkins droop from this hardy willow.  Gray green foliage sits upon this large upright shrub.

American elderberry tolerates a wide variety of wet to dry soils but prefers rich, moist, slightly acidic soil in sun to partial shade. Plants will spread by root sucker and will form thickets if the suckers are not removed. In summer, small white flowers are borne in dense clusters. Flowers are followed by a purple-black drupe that is produced in drooping clusters from late summer to fall. The drupe is an edible fruit and when cooked can be used in pies, pancakes, and jellies. Elderberry flowers and fruits are used in winemaking. Wildlife also enjoys the fruits, and the arching branches provide a habitat for nesting birds.

This is the perfect sized shrub for the smallest of gardens! Matcha Ball® ash leaf spirea forms a perfect round ball of pretty fern-like foliage in a fresh shade of green (that green color reminded us of Matcha tea, thus the name). When the foliage first emerges in the spring there is a hint of color in the leaves and petioles that ranges from red to orange- peach in color, ultimately maturing to green. This variety sparsely blooms, which helps maintain the form throughout the growing season.

New dwarf leaved spirea with new growth changing from bronze to gold.  Goldcharm is a lower mounding shrub with bright pink flowers.

Ice Dragon displays attractive foliage on a compact plant. New growth emerges a deep burgundy against blue-green, older foliage for a striking contrast. Pink flowers start in late spring and sporadically re-bloom throughout the season. It is low-maintenance and performs excellently in the landscape.

Syringa Bloomerang blooms in spring along with other lilaces, then blooms again from mid-summer to fall. Bloomerang has a rounded shape with star-shaped flowers.
