The Tempelhof Compact Hinoki Cypress, 'Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Tempelhof', is a vigorous grower, producing coarse, scalloped foliage. This beautiful, small shrub is excellent for a foundation planting or placed in front of crawl spaces or utility boxes. It will also provide an excellent background for perennials and be used as a border or hedge, lending its ornamental nature everywhere it goes.

Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Contorta' is a dwarf, broadly pyramidal selection of Hinoki cypress, with irregular branching and twisted branchlets. Foliage is deep green in color and consists of typical sprays of foliage, as well as filamentous shoots. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 24 inches tall and 18 inches wide, an annual growth rate of around 2 inches.

A very slow growing variety with scalloped green and golden foliage with a hint of rust; may reach only 5 feet at maturity with a roughly conical shape.

'Nana Gracilis' is a compact, slow-growing, multi-stemmed, evergreen shrub that typically grows to 3' tall over the first 10 years. It will eventually mature over time in pyramidal to conical form to 6-9' tall. It features shell-shaped sprays of dense rich dark green foliage. Nana means dwarf and gracilis means slender or graceful.
